Menu Board

I hate cooking! When I saw this cute little menu kit I thought maybe it would inspire me to cook more dinners...nope...it didn't help. But it certainly is cute hanging on my kitchen wall.

More summer goodness

Water bottles the kids and I made for teachers and coaches.
A jar full of activities the kids can do during the summer when they get bored.

July Crafts

Itsy Bitsy Spider bean bag will be a lot of fun for the preschoolers.

A little early for Halloween, but oh well. These were made with wooden blocks, scrapbook paper and a lot of modge podge.

Artwork displays

Ellie's Artwork Display
Carson's Creations...I have these both in our hallway now where the kids can reach them and put their own favorite pictures up. Ellie's get changed around the most, since she likes to color and draw more than Carson.

Organization Frenzy!

This is our sad excuse for food storage. I bought most of the cereal 2 weeks ago for about $.25 a box. yeah! The Salsa was $1.00 a jar and we got free movie tickets. I have a ton of deodorant that I got for free or $.25 a stick, toothbrushes and paste for $.25 each. Kleenexes for free from my dad. I really need a case lot sale to come around. I also need to start experimenting recipes with wheat.
I have also been working on my craft room. I bought these fabulous clear containers at Walmart and then I had a lady make me some vinyl to label them all, because like Allen says, "you would never know what was inside the clear containers unless you labeled them." He is such a smart a@#! You can't really see the labels on these, but I love them. I love getting organized! The shelf below the containers is the kids "store." When they finish so many of their chores they get to go and pick something out of the store. The treats are mostly dollar store things or some cheap things I found on Amazon.com
Our hallway has been pretty bare since we moved in, but I couldn't decide what to do with it. This is still a work in progress. I am putting up artwork that the kids have made. I am also making a masterpiece board that the kids can hang their own work up on. I still need to put a ton more things up, but this can be sort of a before picture of it.

Once our house is completely finished this little area underneath our stairs will be the only storage we have inside...pretty sad. What can you really do with this area? I am open to any ideas.

Love these!

Ellie was a little sad that she couldn't play t-ball with Carson this year, so I told her she could be the cheerleader instead (more her style anyways). Allen didn't think she was coordinated enough to swing a bat, drop the bat, and run to first base anyways. This is her special baseball bow I made her.

Another corker bow

Corker Bows

This is my ribbon box that I made. I love it! Its got holes on the other side too. I might need to buy another one, my ribbon obsession is getting out of control.
My best friend in Lehi taught me how to make these last week. I haven't quite prefected them yet.
